5005 is similar to 3003 in strength, weldability and processability. 5005 is similar to 3003 in strength and corrosion resistance. The anodized film is brighter than that on 3003 alloy, and is consistent with the hue of 6063 alloy. 5005 aluminum alloy has medium strength and good corrosion resistance. 5005 aluminum alloy is used as conductor, cooker, instrument panel, shell and building decoration.
